Tonight I sit here and out my fingers pours the sweet taste of words.
I’ve been getting back into video games lately, video games and comics, however tonight I only wish to speak about games.
The first game I would like to talk about today is one that came out a while ago.
Back in 2010, a new title was released under the name “Limbo” This game features a small silhouetted child with white glowing eyes as it’s main character, and follows the abstract story of a child looking for his sister.
One most travel this bizarre dreams cape in order to find the missing girl. It is quite a fascinating game indeed.
In all honestly I’m not sure if I missed the part where they introduced the girl character, or what, but I had no idea I was looking for her until I found her, and whilst that might sound like a bad thing; in this games case, it means that the puzzles and the platforming adventure elements are so good, that a real objective is not even necessary.
It took me a while to get this game finished, and I’m sure I missed all the secrets, the complexity is just in the sweet spot, where you really want to quit playing but you know that if you try it just one more different way you’ll get it.
The art is beautiful, simple, abstract, and beatiful.
It is all tons of eerie, from the scary shadow spiders, to the weird mind controlling zombie larvaes, everything is all tons of freaky.
I give this game a 10/10 in the gotta check it out and make up your own mind about it. That’s the point of having experiences, so go check it out, give it a play and if you like it or don’t tell me down in the comments section below.
** Also the music is phenomenal!!
