Recently I was listening to the Webcomics Weekly podcast or maybe it was a youtube video on making minicomics but the point is that they talked about how one should write the full script of your story down before you started drawing which goes against what I’ve been doing for a while but I finally sat down and finished the full 30 page script and I’m so happy because now I know exactly where the comic is going and how it’s going to start, develop and where it will end. Which re-ignited my love for it as well as gave me the direction I was lacking. So with all that in mind I am now working on thumbnailing the full book which feels great.
But the greatest thing is that I finally finished page 5, fully colored and shaded. And I’m happy with how it came out.
Slow progress but progress nonetheless.
